What does Catherine do?

Catherine's is a varied role including drafting and finalising accounts for sole trader and small limited companies and also supporting the senior accountants to complete and finalise more complex assignments. Another major role is the preparation of VAT returns which we see as the building blocks of our accounts preparation process, so getting the little details right at the start helps hugely in the end.

What do you enjoy about your work?

I enjoy the variety of different companies, doing different things in different ways.  It can be a challenging, but it’s never dull.

What do you enjoy about life?

I love spending time with my family which takes up much of my time, but it’s always nice to relax with good friends.

Do you have a pet hate or things that happen or things people do that irritates you?

I dislike rude and grumpy people.  Simple things like a please and thank you go a long way in my book.
