What does Ethan do?

Ethan's main role is to prepare Accounts and VAT, working closely with Liam Robotham. In particular, he helps book in VAT jobs as soon as they arrive and then makes sure everything that is needed to prepare the final submission has been received in good time.

He also helps out with all kinds of smaller, administrative jobs the little jobs and most important, the tea run!

What do you enjoy about your work?

The thing I enjoy most is the actual accountancy work, each day I learn new things and I can feel myself progress, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to be here. I work with a good team of people who offer great support and we always have a good laugh, which makes it a nice environment to work in.

What do you enjoy about life?

When I’m not at work I’m either playing or watching football, at the gym, Netflixing or reading and listening to music.

I play football for my local team every Wednesday night and Sunday. I’m into my fitness so in between football training and games I’ll be at the gym. I consider myself a bit of a film geek, my favourite film – Pulp Fiction, a classic!

Reading is another hobby of mine; I always keep a book in my car and beside my bed.

I love listening to music of all sorts of different genres, everything is better with music!

Do you have a pet hate or things people do that irritates you?

My biggest pet hate would have to be untidiness. I like things to be in order and clean so if people leave a mess it gets under my skin. Apart from that, I’m quite relaxed about most things really.
