ACCOUNTANT

What do you do?

My main duties are the preparation of accounts and VAT schedules as part of their quarterly submissions. Working alongside the senior accountants and the team allows me to carry out a range of tasks and I am constantly learning more about our clients, their businesses and how they work.

What do you enjoy about your work?

Every day is different, so having such a variety means that every day is a learning day.

What do you enjoy about life?

I enjoy my sports and have a season ticket at a local club (I’m not naming it so as not to upset anyone).  I also enjoy spending time with friends and family which gives me a nice balance.

Do you have a pet hate or things that happen or things people do that irritates you?

I really dislike bad drivers, particularly those who don’t say thank you when you let them out of junctions.  A bit of courtesy goes a long way!
