What does Liam do?

As a long standing member of the Accounts prep team, Liam plays a leading role in the preparation of accounts, mainly for limited companies but also for partnerships and sole traders.

He organises and coordinates the whole process to ensure all accounts are prepared & submitted on time, fully compliant and communicated in the right way.

A major part of the role is supporting clients with their queries and concerns, not just relating to their accounts, but also in their wider business environment and personal lives.

Liam also mentors the Accounts prep team, providing support and advice to all on a daily basis.

What do you enjoy about your work?

More than anything, the real sense of achievement of seeing a job through from start to finish.

Beginning with the basic accounts preparation and then start to steadily pulling all the information together so that at the end, the client has a final set of accurate accounts. I also enjoy the variety of work we carry out, one day I could be working on accounts preparation in the office and the next I could be out at a client’s premises going through their software needs.

What do you enjoy about life?

Spending time with my family whether it is day trips out, holidays or just sat watching a film together at home.

I also enjoy most sports, keeping myself fit, trips away and socialising with friends & family.

Do you have a pet hate or things that happen or things people do that irritates you?

Not much bothers me really, I’m quite laid back. But drivers who don’t use indicators, grrrr!

Also, people at the gym who drop the weights they are using on the floor rather than put them down quietly.  There’s no need!
